We pride ourselves on our beautifully unique bouquets packed full of gorgeous blooms and unusual details. They are informal, loose and all with that little bit of 89 Petals wild!
Your beauteous bunches are packed full of luxurious blooms such as roses, stocks and delphiniums but what gives them their unique edge are the non-flowers! The unusual little details such as grasses, seedheads, herbs and thistles. They give texture, interesting shapes, wild trailing pieces and just unruly gorgeousness to your bouquets. They help set our bouquets apart from the crowd – you won’t find most of these in super market! We love them just as much as the blooms. Here are a few of our favourites that you can expect to see over the summer.
Eryngium ( also known as Sea Holly) and Echinops (also known as Globe Thistle). Gorgeous, longlasting and with a hint of blue. These spikey little fellows add unusual texture and interesting detail in amongst you beautiful blooms.
Panicum fountain (fountain grass), Chasmanthium and Pennisetum Rubrum are 3 different varieties of grasses that we love adding to your bouquets.
They add delicate little details, and beautiful movement. They really add that touch of wild!
Papaver (poppy seed heads). Such a beautiful shape and colour. They add a lovely old fashioned, nostalgic, vintage feel. We love mixing them with blooms such as dahlias and delphiniums. Look out for them in our late summer bouquets.
Wonderful little tendrils in vibrant green. These gorgeous little fellows twist and turn amongst your blooms in a most pleasing way. We love adding it to create that loose and natural feel. It’s what our bouquets are all about.
Not just a delicious cooking ingredient. We love including wonderful British grown rosemary in our bouquets. It adds a wonderful unusual scent, interesting texture and a lovely soft, silvery green colour in amongst bright summer flowers.
